Our first solar panels were installed in 2008. Today, approximately 9% of the total electricity we consume is generated by solar panels located on our facilities.
This represents an annual CO2 reduction of 22,780 kg.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a framework for our sustainability policies. By linking the materiality of DENGYO with the SDGs, we are able to set ambitious but achievable targets and hold ourselves accountable for their implementation. These include:
• Promoting carbon neutrality and steadily achieving the SBT CO2 emissions target for 2030
• Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 (relative to 2018)
• Respect for human rights and promotion of fair business practices: All employees trained, and zero legal violations

DENGYO is certified to the ISO 14001:2015 international standard, which takes into consideration environmental protection, pollution prevention, and social and economic needs, while complying with environmental laws and regulations, and building mechanisms for continuous improvement.
